Alexander Wilson is Dj Drop The Chop and has been igniting dance floors with enticing beats and rhythms since 2002. He learnt his trade from one of Cape Town's finest, Dj Honey B, at the legendary Independent Armchair Theatre where he was the resident for several years. His influences and styles vary from jazz, blues and folk to indie, dance, electro and pop. Opening and closing for acts such as Closet Snare, Goldfish and Lark have been some of the highlights of his Djing but he still enjoys nothing more than a good old fashioned throwdown.
